POSTDOCTORAL TRAINING

Completing your postdoctoral fellowship is a critical step on the path to licensure as a clinical psychologist. You're no longer a trainee, but still not quite a fully independent clinician. After many years immersed in coursework, training, and supervision, you’re finally a DOCTOR! Congratulations! This final step before licensure requires solidification of your clinical voice and identity - who are you as a therapist? What is therapy that really works and is authentic to you?

Completing your postdoctoral training in a group private practice offers a unique blend of clinical depth, autonomy, support and community that can meaningfully shape your early career. Unlike institutional settings, a group practice setting often allows more flexibility in developing your style, interests, and long-term goals and doing so in a collaborative and warm setting.

A unique aspect about completing your postdoc at Groundwork Therapy is the ability to do depth-oriented, long-term therapy. We are interested in candidates who view practicing with us not merely as the final stepping stone to freedom, but who are genuinely interested in growing with us beyond licensure as a staff psychologist. We value and prioritize fit over all else when it comes to hiring.
