We offer a range of fees based on your therapist’s level of education and experience.

All individual and couple therapy rates are based on 45-minute sessions.
Double (90-minute) sessions are available upon request.
Our group therapy rate is for 75-minutes.

Our secure platform allows you to leave a method of payment on file, which is automatically billed at the end of each session. Credit, debit, HSA, and FSA cards are accepted.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
We are an out-of-network provider, which means we do not work directly with your insurance. Read more to learn about out-of-network reimbursement.

Many insurance plans offer out-of-network reimbursement. This means you may get a significant portion of the fees you paid reimbursed to you by your insurance company. We will provide you with a monthly “superbill” to assist you in submitting an out-of-network claim to your insurance provider.

We will automatically email you a monthly superbill at the first of each month, which will have all the necessary information you need to assist in submitting an out-of-network claim to your insurance provider.

Do I have out-of-network benefits for behavioral health services?
If the answer is yes, then ask: What is my deductible? (This is the amount you will have to pay out-of-pocket before your insurance company will provide you with any reimbursement. This amount typically restarts at the beginning of every calendar year.)

What is the process for submitting a claim?
Please note: If you are working with a licensed master social worker (LMSW) or a postdoctoral psychologist, these therapists are working under the supervision of a licensed psychologist while they accrue hours toward their clinical license. Confirm with your insurance provider to find out if they accept superbills that are co-signed by the provider and their supervisor.

In choosing an out-of-network group practice, you and your therapist can determine the best care for you without insurance providers dictating and interfering with your treatment. This allows for greater freedom and flexibility around your treatment, including number of sessions, pacing of sessions, therapy modalities used, etc. Further, there is greater privacy around your confidentiality, which is essential when it comes to therapy. Lastly, without the administrative burden of directly dealing with health insurance companies, we have more time to focus on your care.

Our practice recommends a weekly appointment commitment to start therapy, which is regarded as the standard meeting cadence in outpatient psychotherapy.
We also support patients who prefer more frequent visits and come in multiple times per week.
Any changes to session frequency are at the discretion of the therapist.

A weekly appointment is the standard meeting frequency because it strikes a practical and therapeutic balance between consistency, effectiveness, and accessibility.
Here's why it's commonly used:
Consistency builds trust and a stable, supportive rhythm. Weekly sessions create a rhythm that helps build a strong therapeutic relationship. Regular contact allows your therapist to better understand you and provides a sense of reliability, which is essential for emotional safety and openness. Having a reliable, weekly space to reflect and process gives your mind and nervous system a sense of safety and predictability. It becomes a steady anchor during times of stress, uncertainty, or change.
It allows for time to process and reflect. One week between sessions gives you time to reflect on what was discussed, apply insights, and try out strategies or coping tools in your real life without too much delay before the next check-in.
It is clinically effective. Research shows that weekly sessions are generally effective for a wide range of mental health concerns, allowing for progression and continuity in treatment without becoming overwhelming or too sparse. Therapy is a process—like strengthening a muscle or learning a new language. Weekly sessions help you build and maintain emotional momentum, so you're not starting over each time you meet with your therapist.
It’s practical for scheduling and insurance. Weekly appointments are often the most manageable cadence for clients in terms of time and finances. Many insurance plans are designed around this model too.
Making a meeting adjustment is possible. Weekly isn't a rigid rule—it’s a starting point. Some clients may need more frequent support (e.g., twice a week in crisis or intensive therapy), while others may transition to biweekly or monthly as they progress.

The commitment of therapy is a mutual investment between client and therapist because both parties actively contribute time, effort, and emotional energy to the process of growth and healing.
The client invests by showing up regularly, being open and honest, and engaging in the often difficult work of self-exploration and change. Your willingness to participate and apply insights outside of sessions is essential for meaningful progress.
The therapist invests by showing up for you—not just by being there each week, but by really listening, thinking about your progress, and bringing their skills and training to support you. They prepare for your sessions, offer a safe and nonjudgmental space, and are fully present and attuned to your needs. They’re invested in helping you grow and heal, are committed to your well-being, and adapt their approaches when necessary.
Clients and therapists also demonstrate their investment by committing one hour of their limited schedules per week to this collaborative treatment process. This can only work if each holds their side of the commitment: the therapist reserves one 45-minute appointment for you and you attend consistently.
This mutual commitment fosters a trusting relationship—the therapeutic alliance—which research shows is one of the strongest predictors of successful outcomes. Therapy works best when both client and therapist are dedicated to the shared goal of growth and healing.

If you need to cancel your weekly appointment, your therapist will suggest scheduling a “make up session,” so that you are not charged for the missed appointment. The opportunity to schedule a make up session in place of a cancellation charge is dependent on your therapist’s availability. Your therapist will try their best to offer an alternative date and time, but this is not guaranteed. If you and your therapist do not schedule a make up session for your cancelled appointment, you will be charged the full fee for the appointment. However, those clients with weekly appointment commitments are allowed three free cancellations per year (12-month cycle) that can be used with any amount of notice or for any reason.
Clients will always be charged for “no-shows” and same day cancellations.
You must notify your therapist about a cancellation prior to the appointment start time. Cancellations communicated after the start of the appointment will be considered a “no show” and charged the full fee for the session.
how to get started

We will respond with an email providing you with more information about our practice (fees, scheduling, etc.) and a link to book your optional free 15-minute phone consultation with one of our directors.
If you choose to forego the brief phone consultation, you will be provided with times to schedule your first appointment with your preferred therapist.
The phone consultation is an opportunity to speak with one of our directors prior to meeting for a full appointment with a therapist. The purpose of this call is to make sure our practice is a good fit for the care you are seeking. We’ll ask you a bit about your reasons for coming to therapy and give you a sense about how we work.
This call is complimentary and should take about 15 minutes.
If at the end of the consultation call we both decide to move forward with setting up your first therapy session, we will then select a date and time for your weekly appointment with your new therapist. (Our therapists typically meet with clients on a weekly basis at a regularly scheduled time unless a specific arrangement is made.)
Upon scheduling your first appointment, you will receive a link to our secure Client Portal where you will review, sign and complete our intake paperwork, which includes various consent documents and a brief questionnaire (this should take about 10 minutes).
All paperwork should be completed within 24 hours of scheduling in order to secure your appointment.
